Lehmann suffered the injury against England on Wednesday Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann is out for at least two weeks after aggravating an Achilles tendon injury in Germany's 2-1 friendly win over England on Wednesday. Spanish keeper Manuel Almunia will replace Lehman when the Gunners play Manchester City on Saturday. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said: "Jens is out and he will miss two weeks, I think. Maybe more - I don't know. "He is going to see a specialist in Germany on Friday. He had this injury before but it got much worse." Wenger is confident that Almunia will not let him down while Lehmann is out. Arsenal to support autism charity

Arsenal have pledged to try to raise £250,000 this season for the autism charity TreeHouse. The money will be used to improve sports facilities at the charity's new national centre for autism education, close to the club's Emirates Stadium. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said: "Awareness and understanding of autism education is much-needed. "This is matched with the need to raise vital funds for the new centre. We hope we can help TreeHouse on both counts." TreeHouse was formed by a group of parents, including Fever Pitch author Nick Hornby, in 1997 and aims to increase quality of education available to autistic children.

But Schmeichel was the hero as he blocked Van Persie's spot-kick with his legs. The youngster then saved well from Van Persie and Fabregas as Arsenal attempted to end their growing frustration. The Gunners finally broke City's stubborn resistance with 10 minutes left, Fabregas taking a pass from Hleb and unleashing a high drive beyond Schmeichel from the angle. Fuelled by a sense of relief, Arsenal poured forward and Schmeichel saved well from Tomas Rosicky, Hleb sending the rebound narrowly wide. But there was almost a dramatic finish when Schmeichel joined the attack for a corner and forced a fine save from Almunia with a powerful header.
