Arsenal to support autism charity

Arsenal to support autism charity
Arsenal have pledged to try to raise £250,000 this season for the autism charity TreeHouse.

The money will be used to improve sports facilities at the charity's new national centre for autism education, close to the club's Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said: "Awareness and understanding of autism education is much-needed.

"This is matched with the need to raise vital funds for the new centre. We hope we can help TreeHouse on both counts."

TreeHouse was formed by a group of parents, including Fever Pitch author Nick Hornby, in 1997 and aims to increase quality of education available to autistic children.
