Inter closing in on Vieira deal

Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini admits his team will have to change their style of play if Patrick Vieira joins the club.

The France international is on the verge of joining the Nerazzuri from Juventus in a deal worth 13 million euros (£8.9million). Vieira, 30, is expected to arrive in Milan in the next few days to complete the deal as he becomes the fifth player to leave the now disgraced Juventus.

"If Vieira really comes, things are going to change compared to last season," said Mancini.

"He (Vieira) is very good at getting into the danger area and scoring goals.

"I would say we would be a little less technical and a bit tougher, less imaginative but powerful."
